Driving to Treblinka is New Zealand Listener journalist Diana Wichtel’s memoir about her father, a Polish Jew who miraculously survived the Holocaust but disappeared when Wichtel was 13, when her family moved to New Zealand. It has been shortlisted in the general fiction section of the 2018 Ockham Awards.
